“Clean hands, healthy habits, happy lives.”
The students of Shri Ram Global School, Lucknow celebrated Hygiene Day on 31st July 2026 with great enthusiasm to promote the importance of personal cleanliness and healthy habits among young learners.
The celebration began with the Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and KG students, who watched an engaging educational video on personal hygiene and cleanliness. Teachers conducted interactive classroom discussions and demonstrated the correct use of personal hygiene products. They also taught the proper steps of handwashing, encouraging children to develop healthy habits from an early age.
As part of the day’s activities, Grade 1 students performed the Pepper and Soap Experiment, which helped them understand how soap effectively removes germs.
Grade 2 students participated in the Glitter Handwashing Experiment, where they observed how germs spread easily and how proper handwashing helps prevent the spread of infections.
Special Assembly was conducted by the students of Grade 5 who confidently presented a meaningful programme highlighting the importance of personal hygiene. Creative posters and informative presentation added to the impact of the assembly.
The activities were informative, interactive, and enjoyable, helping students understand the significance of maintaining good hygiene for a healthy lifestyle. The celebration concluded with a pledge by the students to follow good hygiene practices every day and encourage others to do the same.
