A motivational workshop was conducted on 4th September 2023 at Shri Ram Global School Lucknow by Vice Principal Ms. Shameem Singh with the purpose of guiding the students towards examination preparation and inculcating Effective Study Habits. The workshop began with the quote- ‘ success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration ‘, making the students realize the importance of hard work- which is the key to success. It was helpful for students to recognize their memorization techniques, plan achievable goals, prepare study schedule and concentrate in studies without getting distracted. The students came across various tips to remove stress and focus on their examination preparation.

Having said that, Shri Ram Global School conducted an IN-HOUSE workshop for the students of grades VI to XI on POCSO, Child abuse, Sexual Harassment, and its safety measures. Children were also told about Juvenile crime and the child protection policy.

The session was an interactive one and was well explained to students with the help of a PowerPoint presentation and short videos related to the topic.

The workshop was conducted by Ms. Shefali Banerjee in the presence of the School Principal, Vice Principal, Coordinators, Committee members, and the class teachers.

Overall, it was a great learning experience for the students.

Menstruation is a natural process of the reproductive cycle. However, in most parts of the world, it remains a taboo and we rarely talk about it. Dr. Jyotsana Agarwal, a reputed gynaecologist, conducted a workshop for the girls of grade IV – XI on menstrual Awareness and hygiene. During the workshop, the students were told about the science behind menstruation and the myths around it. The girls were also told about basic hygiene that should be maintained. It helped in sensitizing them on various complications arising out of a lack of menstrual hygiene. The session was very informative and enlightening.
