The students of Shri Ram Global School, Lucknow celebrated Friendship Day on 3rd August 2026 with great enthusiasm and joy. The celebration beautifully promoted the values of friendship, kindness, sharing, empathy, and mutual respect.
The programme began with a special assembly featuring a heartwarming skit on the timeless friendship of Lord Krishna and Sudama by Grade 2, conveying the importance of true friendship based on love, trust, and selflessness. The Grade 1 students delighted the audience with a graceful Walk of Friendship, while the Nursery children presented a lively Friendship Day dance that spread the message of love, unity, and togetherness.
The Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and KG students confidently recited simple lines on friendship, expressing their affection for their friends. Students from Grades 1 to 8 enthusiastically created colourful DIY friendship bands using ribbons, decorative shapes, and other craft materials. They exchanged these handmade bands with their classmates as heartfelt tokens of love, care, and appreciation, celebrating the special bonds they share.
The celebration filled the school with smiles, laughter, and warmth, creating unforgettable memories for every child. It reinforced the message that true friendship is one of life’s greatest treasures, inspiring students to nurture relationships built on kindness, respect, and compassion.
