The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotism and enthusiasm at Shri Ram Global School, Lucknow, under the theme Swarnim Bharat: VirasataurVikas (Golden India: Heritage and Progress). The event was a vibrant reflection of India’s cultural heritage and progressive strides.
The ceremony commenced with a synchronised and disciplined march past by the four houses – Tagore, Kalam, Teresa, and Gandhi – embodying unity and teamwork. A soulful prayer and the national pledge followed, reaffirming the commitment to India’s values.
A thought-provoking speech in Hindi eloquently highlighted India’s journey of preserving its legacy while embracing modernity. The welcome dance, full of grace and energy, showcased the richness of Indian culture. The pre-primary students charmed everyone with their confident and heart-warming declamation, epitomising youthful patriotism.
A group dance, seamlessly blending tradition with modernity, depicted the unity in India’s diversity, while the inter-house singing competition inspired national pride through melodious renditions.
Additionally, a drawing competition for Pre-Nursery to Grade 2 showcased the creative talents of young students, with patriotic themes taking centre stage. A special declamation on Dr.Bhim Rao Ambedkar by a Kindergarten student added depth to the celebrations.
The event concluded with motivating words from Chief Academic Advisor Ms. Pooja Prasad and blessings from Principal Ms. Shameem Singh, leaving the audience inspired to contribute to the nation’s progress.
