“Let’s get messy and make memories!”
“Play is the highest form of research.” — Albert Einstein
A fun-filled day for our tiny tots!
The Pre-Primary section of Shri Ram global school, Lucknow recently transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity and sensory exploration for Messy Play Day on 17 April,2026. Designed to break away from the traditional “stay inside the lines” approach, the event encouraged our youngest learners to engage their senses, explore textures, and—most importantly—get their hands dirty in the name of development.
Highlights of the Day
The school building was divided into various “Sensation Stations,” each offering a unique tactile experience:
- Tiny hands big mess
- Create the seven-magic mountain
- Little Picasso
Learning Objectives Achieved
While it looked like “just play” to the casual observer, the day was rooted in several key developmental areas:
- Sensory Integration
- Fine Motor Skills
- Language Development
- Social-Emotional Growth
Messy Play Day was a resounding success, filled with giggles, wide-eyed wonder, and a lot of laundry for the parents! The event reminded us that for a child, the process of creation is far more important than the final product. By the end of the session, the students left with colorful clothes and even brighter smiles, having explored the world in the most hands-on way possible.
