“Aadhar is a 12-digit unique identity for every Indian individual, including children and infants.” It enables identification for every Indian resident. It establish uniqueness of every individual on the basis of demographic and biometric information.
Our school organized a three-day camp for our students who have not registered themselves for Aadhar in collaboration with officers from regional Aadhar Seva center who camped at our school for registering the students as it is mandatory for CBSE registration for upcoming session in UDISE.
Students of class VI-VIII understood the process of Aadhar registration as they visited the camp area where the government officials were working.
The parents welcomed the school’s initiative of getting over 140 Aadhar enrollments done over a period of 3 days.
