The students of Shri Ram Global School from Pre-Primary to grade XII celebrated Dussehra on October 10 with a lot of zest and fervor. To celebrate the triumph of good over evil the students of Kalam House organised a special assembly. The event commenced with the ceremonial blowing of the shank (conch) which is believed to purify the environment and drive away negative energy.
The tiny tots, dressed in colorful traditional attire, added vibrancy to the occasion and won everyone’s hearts with their charming performances. Grade 1 children participated in a devotional dance performance dedicated to Lord Rama with enthusiasm followed by a graceful dance tribute to Goddess Durga which was performed by the 9 girls of grade 2 showcasing their talent and devotion.
The highlight of the assembly was the vibrant enactment of Ramleela by the students. The performance was met with great enthusiasm and was a visual representation of good conquering evil. The assembly concluded with a soulful music performance. Our respected Principal Ms. Shameem Singh encouraged the students to embrace the values of courage and righteousness symbolized by Durga highlighting the very essence of the festival.
