We at Shri Ram Global School, believe in all round awareness and development of students. On 3rd & 4th August, 2023, our Pre-Primary to grade 2 students went on a field trip to Smart Bazaar as part of extended learning.
The Grocery Store is a wonderful place for children to be made aware of and learn about different kinds of food and other things available over there. On their visit to the smart bazaar, children were made to identify the types of grocery items. They were shown different sections like fresh fruits & vegetables, grains, dairy/ frozen food, stationery and toys, etc. Teachers explained to them how things are bought, billed, and paid for. Some students shared their shopping experiences which they had with their parents at the same store. This gave the students an opportunity to see, smell and learn about commodities that are available in a shopping mart and how it is purchased by people for their daily use. At the end they relished fruit chat provided by the store.
Overall, it was a fun-filled learning experience for each child.
