FIELD TRIP TO ISKCON TEMPLE

visit to iskon temple (2)

On 17th and 18th October 2024, the Pre-Primary wing along with Grade 1 &2, of Shri Ram Global School went for a visit to ISKCON Temple. The visit was organized to provide students with an opportunity to explore spiritual practices, learn about the teachings of Lord Krishna, and experience the cultural and religious significance of the temple. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by temple volunteers who gave us a brief overview of the temple’s history . The students were introduced to the temple’s purpose as a place of worship, meditation, and service. One of the highlights of the visit was the participation in the aarti, a devotional prayer ceremony. Students had the chance to witness and take part in offering prasad and chanting the Hare Krishna mantra, creating an atmosphere of peace and devotion. After the aarti, the students interacted with temple devotees, who shared insights on the principles of Lord Krishna and story of krishna. The students were encouraged to chant ‘HARE RAM HARE KRISHNA’ in the temple. The visit to the ISKCON temple was an enriching and enlightening experience for both the students and the teachers. It fostered a sense of curiosity about different religious practices and encouraged spiritual reflection. The temple’s serene atmosphere, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the devotees, left a lasting impression on the students.
The visit not only achieved its educational objectives but also instilled values of respect, mindfulness, and community service among the children.
