To honour them, Shri Ram Global School celebrated Grandparents Day on Saturday 5th October 2024.
The program commenced with “Lighting of the Lamp “followed by Ganesh Vandana and welcome song by our little children of Pre-Nursery and Nursery. Skit was presented by the KG students which led us towards all the powerpacked performances by students of Pre-Nursery to KG. The event left the spectators spellbound and mesmerized. Grandparents shared their life learning experiences. They revisited the inner child in them by taking part in playing games, getting hand printing and above all getting themselves captured with their grandchildren at the selfie corner.
The joyful smile of the grandparents was the evidence of successful event. Grandparents expressed their feelings to the teachers and felt ease with the learning atmosphere SRGS is offering to their grandchildren. Last but not the least words of wisdom were shared by the honourable Principal ma’am Shameem Singh on Kindness, which many of us have learned from our grandparents. It’s a virtue, a way of living. She also expressed gratitude to all the grandparents for being a source of love, strength, and inspiration. Their faith and kindness shape the world for the better and their dedication to family is always treasured.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks by The Chief Academic Advisor Ma’am Pooja Prasad who appreciated all the teachers of Pre-Primary and thanked all the grandparents for giving their valuable time to the school.
