On 23rd October 2024, a group of class 8th students from our school Shri Global School visited Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport as part of our educational initiative to enhance students’ understanding of aviation and airport operations. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the workings of an airport and the aviation industry.
Activities Undertaken
- Guided Tour of the Airport: Students were welcomed by airport staff who provided a comprehensive guided tour. They explored
o Check-in counters
o Security checks
o Departure and arrival lounges
o Baggage claim areas - Interactive Session: The airport staff conducted an interactive session where they explained:
o The roles of different personnel at the airport (e.g., ground staff, security personnel).
o Procedures for check-in, boarding, and baggage handling.
o The importance of safety protocols and emergency procedures. - Q&A Session: A question-and-answer session was held, allowing students to engage directly with professionals in the field. Students asked questions about aviation careers, training requirements, and future developments in the aviation industry.
The visit was educational and engaging, fostering a deeper understanding of the aviation industry.
