“Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony.”

The joyous occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and the birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri, the two great patriots was celebrated in the Pre-Primary wing of Shri Ram Global School, Lucknow on 1st October, 2021 with full zeal and enthusiasm. Gandhi Ji gave two principles ‘SATYA’ and ‘AHIMSA’ of life and Shastri Ji gave the slogan ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’. Since the occasion marks the birth of two national heroes, the celebration began with a talk about their inspiring lives and the sacrifices they have made for the freedom of our country.

Teachers urged the students to learn the values and principles, which Gandhiji and Shastriji held dear in their life, like truth, non-violence, respect for all beings, self-discipline, unity, harmony, sharing and caring. Students got motivated to follow the footsteps of these great personalities in every walk of life.

They enjoyed singing Gandhi Ji’s favourite bhajan ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ with full exuberance and dressed up as Gandhi Ji and his three monkeys and the splendid celebration was also marked by graceful dance performance by the children.

It was a beautiful sight to see them celebrate this day with great zest and enthusiasm.
