Buddha Purnima is one of the most sacred festivals for Buddhists all over the world. This is celebrated to memorize enlightenment, the birth of Lord Buddha. To mark this occasion, Shri Ram Global School conducted a special assembly on 13th May 2022 where children of all classes were shown a video on the life of Gautam Buddha, and the importance of the festival was explained through visuals.
It is believed three important events of the Buddha’s life took place: his birth, his attaining enlightenment and his death, Paranievane.
This day is known as Thrice Blessed Festival.
