Shri Ram Global School, Lucknow organized a Special Assembly on the occasion of Dussehra at the school Amphitheatre with great enthusiasm and festive fervor. The celebration highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage and the timeless message of the triumph of good over evil.
The program commenced with a devotional opening, followed by enthralling cultural performances. Students of Tagore House showcased their talent through a graceful classical dance and an energetic Dhanuchi dance, evoking festive cheer. A powerful presentation of Mahishasura Mardini captivated the audience, depicting Goddess Durga’s victory over the demon king Mahishasura. The performance symbolized courage, divine strength, and the eternal power of righteousness.
The Principal Ms. Shameem Singh, addressed the gathering, praising the efforts of the participants and urging students to imbibe the values of courage, truth, and integrity that Dussehra and Durga Puja symbolize.
The celebration concluded with the grand Ravana Dahan at the school Cricket ground. As the effigy of Ravana went up in flames amid cheers, the audience was reminded once again that arrogance and evil, however powerful, are always defeated by truth and righteousness.
The special assembly turned into a vibrant cultural extravaganza—an inspiring blend of devotion, tradition, and learning—that left a lasting impression on students, staff, and guests alike carrying forward the landmark tradition at Shri Ram Global.
