A day full of learning without textbooks and * outside the classroom*
The first week of the new session culminated into a Field excursion trip to SLMG Beverages, Lucknow and was a truly an enriching learning experience for our senior students as the school had its First Bagless Day of the Session. The highlight of the excursion the Coca-Cola plant, where the students got to see how the the beverages are produced on a large scale and how the Factors of Production contribute to the Bottling Plant.
The students could correlate textbook information about Sustainable Development Goal # 12 responsible production as they witnessed how the staff worked efficiently to recycle 12 KL water every year. Besides, the plant has a collaboration with the waste management system wherein thosands of pet bottles are recycled every year.
Overall, the trip provided a great opportunity to learn about recycling and reusing with the objective of sustainable development which will sensitize our youth to become socially and environmentally responsible citizens.
