“Honouring the Roots, Nurturing the Future”
The Pre-Primary Wing of Shri Ram Global School celebrated Grandparents’ Day with warmth and reverence. The event commenced with volunteer children welcoming the grandparents with roli tika and small token of affection, after which the young learners escorted them to their respective classes. In classrooms, students presented a delightful song and dance performance, followed by interactive games. The grandparents enriched the students by sharing life lessons, stories, and songs, creating an atmosphere of wisdom and joy. Children, in turn, expressed their gratitude by presenting handmade cards and extending heartfelt wishes. Our Principal, Ms. Shameem Singh, and Chief Academic Coordinator, Ms. Pooja Prasad, also interacted with the grandparents and shared insights into classroom practices such as circle time, energizers, and value-based learning, including early sensitisation on good touch and bad touch. The program concluded with a token of appreciation presented to all grandparents by the principal ma’am and the chief academic advisor ma’am. It was followed by a group photograph captured the cherished moment.
“The celebration stood as a beautiful confluence of tradition, values, and togetherness—leaving behind treasured memories for both grandparents and children.”
