On the occasion of Hygiene Day, Dr. Anupriya Narain (Gynaecologist) conducted an informative and interactive awareness session for the girls of Classes VI to IX at Shri Ram Global School, Lucknow.
Dr. Narain started the session with an engaging activity that reinforced the key methods of washing hands, making the learning experience enjoyable and engaging.The session focused on the importance of menstrual hygiene, hand hygiene, vaginal hygiene, Anemic conditions , infections, diseases and maintaining overall personal hygiene. Dr. Narain also educated about various reproductive health concerns, including certain conditions that, if ignored, may develop into serious or even cancerous illnesses, emphasizing the importance of early recognition, timely medical consultation, and regular health check-ups.
Students actively participated throughout the session, asking thoughtful questions and clearing their doubts in a comfortable and supportive environment.
The session was highly enriching and empowered the students with essential knowledge and practical habits for maintaining lifelong health and well-being.
