Sweeter than honey, tastier than curd and pleasant than any happiness and joy is the company of Lord Krishna. The birthday of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. Krishna Janmashtami observed on the Ashtami tithi, the eighth day of Krishna Paksha of the month of Shraavana.

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna On Saturday, 28th August 2021, the    students of SHRI RAM GLOBAL SCHOOL celebrated Janmashtami virtually. The students of Pre-Primary and Grade 1 came traditionally dressed as Radha and Krishna to the online class. Splendidly colorful dance performances were organized by the children of Pre Nursery, K.G and Grade 1. The students were overjoyed when they broke the ‘Dahi Handi’ (balloon filled with milk chocolate). Amidst the merriment, children had sweet curd, kheer, sivayia and watched a video.  The video was based on the legend of baby Krishna (he is also called Makhan chor).

It was a colourful event which brought a lot of joy to the children, parents and the teacher. Cooperation from the teachers and the parents was appreciated by all.
