Sharing learning and gaining values
On April 18, 2024, students from Shri Ram Global School in Lucknow engaged in a SEWA(Social empowerment through work in action)activity focused on recycling and reusing – SDG 12 – Responsible consumption.
They visited a primary school nearby to donate models crafted by fellow students for our last Science exhibition imbibing the importance of reuse and sustainability in our students. The students not only donated these models but also took the time to explain their significance to the recipients. This act left the students with a beautiful sense of fulfillment. This initiative, aligned with Earth Day, aimed to educate students on the value of reusing items by sharing them with those in need, fostering a culture of sustainability and community support. The models will be used by the recipient school for project based learning.A big shout out to our community service coordinator Ms Shefali Banerjee and our art Integration head Ms Manisha for spearheading this noble cause.
