Guided by our vision of nurturing confident, creative, and future-ready learners, Shri Ram Global School organised the “Skill Swap Workshop 2026” on 24 May 2026 on the theme “A Reverse Learning Classroom Experience”, where students took the role of mentors and parents became learners.
The workshop began at 9:00 AM and saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents. The initiative is important as it encourages practical learning, communication skills, creativity, teamwork, and confidence amongst children. The event highlighted the importance of experiential learning over rote learning.
In the Art section, students guided the parents in painting, craft work, and creative activities. The Music & Dance area created a lively atmosphere with energetic performances and interactive sessions that kept everyone engaged with the basic steps of Kathak, Dandiya and Ballroom Dance.
The STEM zone became a major attraction as students demonstrated exciting science experiments and innovative discoveries sach as fan, traffic light and lamp. These activities reflected the students scientific thinking, creativity and hand on learning skills.
The workshop truly reflected the school’s commitment to holistic education and showed how learning can become more engaging, collaborative, and enjoyable when students are empowered to lead. Skill Swap Workshop 2026 certificates were given to each participative parents for encouraging the young mentors.
