Van Mahotsav week is celebrated from 1 July to 7 July to spread awareness of forest conservation and to save the environment. Shri Ram Global School, wants to ensure that the Students should not be deprived of any opportunity to bring their creativity on paper. Hence a‘Slogan Writing Competition’ was organised on the first day of the Van Mahotsav week i.e. 1 July, 2022 for grades III to X.
The Slogan Writing Competition comprised of only one round, whereby all the students from Grades III to X had participated. The students were given the ‘Save Trees’ theme to write the slogan in Hindi. The aim of this competition was to raise awareness on forest conservation and to save the environment.
The second activity comprised of plantation of plants. Our grade 9 and 10 students got saplings and potted them under the guidance of Forest Ranger Lucknow Branch. The DFO Lucknow had been kind enough to send some Harsingar and Amartaas cuttings and made the students plant them. As these trees will grow and spread their fragrance, the students would always be reminded of the fond memories of their school days.
