“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted”

As a custom at SHRI RAM GLOBAL SCHOOL, LUCKNOW, this year too we organized a “Smile with Santa” donation drive for the underprivileged. The parents and students of SRGS generously donated blankets, warm clothes, cakes, biscuits, chocolates, stationary & toys to be distributed to the underprivileged and bring smiles to their faces. Due to the overwhelming response we decided to extend our distribution drive from a day to a week.

For genuine distribution school partnered with Prathmik Vidyalaya Maqdoonpur, Swapna foundation (volunteer-based NGO), Ekatva Foundation (NGO), Robinhood Army (NGO), and last but not the least the labourers and their families working at various construction sites nearby to the school.

The distribution was conducted by the Director of operations, Principal, Chief Academic Advisor, Vice principal, Coordinators, Teachers and students of the school. The students realised that donating is not just about giving but also receiving joy of giving and blessings of others. We look forward to many such community drives in future. SRGS promotes virtues and values of sharing, caring and charity via a host of such engaging activities where learners practice moral education in action.
