“Teachers affect eternity; no one can tell where their influence stops.” – Henry Brooks Adam (American historian)
Our students at Shri Ram Global School celebrated Teacher’s Day on the 4th of September, 2021. The offline students of classes VI to IX put up a variety of excellent performances for the teachers; the most special part was that these children showcased their creativity without us teacher’s guiding them for this particular event.
Ms. Anushka Mishra of class IX, confidently anchored the event. Ms. Jiya delivered the opening speech, which was filled with true appreciation towards all teachers. The event included a Hindi and English poetry recitation by the students, Mr. Nikunj Gulati(IV) , Mr. Sujal Mishra (IX)and Mr. Rudraabhishek Mishra(IX). Ms. Shambhavi Singh and Ms. Deveshi Vishwakarma of class IX delighted us with their duet song,’ Dynamite’, from their favourite group, the BTS.
Furthermore, Mr. Aman Mishra’s energetic solo dance performance was much appreciated by all the teachers. Mr. Aahan Yadav(VII) sang a soulful song for the teachers, which was truly beautifully sung. His sincerity came through, through his performance. Just when we thought that the celebration was a wrap, Mr. Shaurya Veer Singh (VII) made everyone’s sides ache with laughter with his splendid mimicry skills. Towards the end of this fun filled celebration, students had some games organised for teachers and Ms. Amrita Pandey (IX) concluded the day with a very well written ‘Thank you’ speech.
The efforts put in by all the students to show their appreciation towards their teachers only goes to show that the sacred bond of a student and teacher that has always been one of the strongest since generations, continues to stay the same even now. No pandemic can alter this reality.
The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all and the teachers are ever so grateful for these little children for their efforts and pure love.
