The students of Pre-Primary of Shri Ram Global School visited the local fire station for an exciting and educational excursion.
At the Fire station, the children saw huge fire trucks and met the brave firefighters. Children watched a live demonstration of a big hose, which amazed them. The firefighters also showed the children how to stay safe in case of fire. The children were thrilled to see the big red truck and were even more excited when they heard the loud siren sound! The trip ensured learning of the four senses of smell, touch, sight and hearing in case of a fire break-out!
The children saw their uniforms and equipment, and learnt about different tools and equipment that they use. The firefighters showed them how to stay safe in case of a fire. They listened carefully and asked many curious questions.
The trip to the fire station was super fun! Children learnt a lot about firefighters and their life-saving work. Learning from experts paves way for experiential learning.
