On 6th and 8th November 2024, the Pre-Primary wing along with Grade 1 &2, of Shri Ram Global School went for a visit to GURUDWARA. The visit was organized to provide students with an opportunity to explore spiritual practices, learn about the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and experience the cultural and religious significance of the Gurudwara . Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by volunteers who gave us a brief overview about the 10 Guru’s and the importance of gurudwara and its history . The students were introduced to the gurudwara’s purpose as a place of worship, meditation, and service. One of the highlights of the visit was the participation in the bhajan, a devotional prayer ceremony. Students had the chance to witness and take part in offering prasad and chanting the Bole So Nihal..Sat Sri Akal, creating an atmosphere of peace and devotion. After the Shabad Kirtan, the students interacted with gurudwara devotees, who shared insights on the principles of their culture . The visit to the GURUDWARA was an enriching and enlightening experience for both the students and the teachers. It fostered a sense of curiosity about different religious practices and encouraged spiritual reflection. The gurudwara serene atmosphere, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the devotees, left a lasting impression on the students.
The visit not only achieved its educational objectives but also instilled values of respect, mindfulness, and community service among the children.
