As part of an educational initiative, students visited the Lucknow Integrated Smart Control Centre and the Security Headquarters’ Driving and Weapons Department. The first part of the visit introduced students to Smart City technologies, including Intelligent Traffic Management, Red Light Violation Detection, and CCTV-based surveillance for public safety. Officials demonstrated systems like ANPR and digital challan generation, highlighting tech-driven governance. Students also explored solid waste monitoring and real-time emergency response management.
In the second phase, students visited the Security Headquarters, where they learned safe driving practices and traffic regulations under expert guidance. They also engaged in simulated firearms training, understanding weapon mechanics and control. The session emphasized discipline, preparedness, and the responsible use of technology in public safety. The visit concluded with interactive sessions at both locations, reinforcing the value of technology, discipline, and innovation in building smarter and safer communities.
