On a sunny day, EcoClub students of Shri Ram Global School visited Lucknow’s Zoological and Botanical Garden, powered by NTPC. The trip offered an incredible opportunity to explore biodiversity and ecosystems.
The students observed a variety of animals, including lions, monkeys, and colorful birds, as well as medicinal plants, fruit trees, and flowering plants. They also learned about the importance of conservation and the impact of human activities on the environment.
While enjoying the garden’s beauty, students encountered challenges like plastic waste and saw the garden’s efforts to address them through recycling programs, biodegradable bags, and sustainability initiatives.
This visit deepened their understanding of nature, inspiring them to reduce plastic use and protect the environment. Grateful to NTPC and their school, the students left with a renewed sense of purpose and responsibility toward the planet.
