“Heritage is a present from our ancestors respect it, preserve it.”
Shri Ram Global School celebrated World Heritage Day with great enthusiasm on April 17. The day began with a special morning assembly, where students of grade VI presented a thought-provoking skit highlighting the importance of preserving our rich heritage. The skit effectively conveyed the message of safeguarding cultural monuments and traditions for future generations.
Following the assembly, a vibrant softboard decoration competition was held amongst sections of classes III – V where Grade III B, IV B and V C stood the winner. Different classes displayed creative boards on themes such as Preserving the Past for the Future, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and Cultural Importance. The colourful and informative displays reflected students’ awareness and appreciation for global heritage.
The celebration concluded with an engaging Heritage Quiz, where students enthusiastically participated and showcased their knowledge about historical sites, cultural symbols and heritage conservation. The event successfully fostered a sense of pride and responsibility among students toward preserving our invaluable heritage.
