Chess is a board game for two players. The history of chess goes back to the seventh century in India where it was played as ‘Chaturanga’.

Shri Ram Global School celebrated International Chess Day by conducting Intramural Chess competition on 20-07- 2023 in two categories i.e. Junior (Grade 3 to 5) and Senior (Grade 9 to 11) respectively. In the first category Teresa (boys) and Kalam (girls) stood first. While in the second category Kalam(boys) and Gandhi(girls) bagged the first position. It was indeed quite heart warming to see the students of SRGS playing their moves like stalwarts with rapt concentration and collected demeanor.
