“History is not there for us to judge—it is there for us to learn from, to heal, and to build a better tomorrow.”

On 14th August 2026, Shri Ram Global School, Lucknow observed Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. This day is observed every year to remember the struggles, pain, and sacrifices of millions of people during the Partition of India in 1947. It reminds us how important peace, unity, and compassion are in our lives.

To mark this day, our school organized a special exhibition for grades V to VIII in the Activity Hall. The exhibition included photographs, letters, stories, and displays that showed the real experiences of people during Partition. The purpose was to help students understand this part of our history and to learn lessons of harmony and brotherhood.

Teachers reminded the students that remembering our past helps us build a better tomorrow. They encouraged children to carry forward the message of love, tolerance, and togetherness.

Overall, the exhibition was a meaningful experience for both students and teachers. It created awareness and gave young minds a chance to reflect, learn from history, and grow as responsible and compassionate citizens of India.
