Sports play an important part in character building. In recognition of the need to inculcate the sporting spirit in children, the Pre-Primary and Primary department of Shri Ram Global School, Lucknow organized the Annual Sports Day for children on 3 February’2023. The event provided an ideal opportunity for the children to demonstrate their prowess in various sporting disciplines. The students of Nursery and Kindergarten put up a spectacular drill for the entertainment of the audience. They performed various exercises using Pom-Poms, The students of Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Kindergarten also participated in a wide range of races like ‘Fruit Race’, ‘Pack Your Bag’and ‘Clean The Lawn to name a few. A fitting finale to the day was a display by the students of Grade-1 and 2 who showcased their skills through races like ‘Relay Race’, ‘Hurdle Race’ and Balloon Race. The Sports Day helped children explore their hidden sports interests, to build confidence and to inculcate a desire to learn new skills.  It was a fun filled day for one and all.
