Our school celebrated Tagore Jayanti through a vibrant house special assembly The event featured a brief biography of Rabindranath Tagore, a heartfelt recitation of “Where the Mind is Without Fear”, and a touching skit on Kabuliwala
Whereas the pre primary wing celebrated Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti with gusto and zeal. At first Principal and teachers gave tribute to Gurudev. Children sang the famous song ‘Ekla Chalo Re’ and poem recitation by grade 1 students took away everyone’s heart. A child from KG told about the contributions made by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore for the country.
The program concluded with a thought-provoking quote shared by our Principal Ma’am:
“I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.” – Rabindranath Tagore
